Trisetum spicatum


Tufted erect perennial grass to 60 cm. Hairy stems. Broad (10mm wide) flat or slightly inrolled leaves to 15 cm long. Lower leaves hairless but upper leaves may be velvety hairy. Spike-like flowerhead to 12 cm long, with shiny seeds in pairs, often purplish-pink.
