Goodenia hederacea


Prostrate or ascending herb to 30 cm with tall flower stems to 80 cm, often cottony. Toothed ovalish leaves to 12 cm long and 25 mm wide. Yellow hairy flowers with five petals held in groups of two and three.

Biology

Perennial. Open forests and woodlands. Seed becomes jelly-like on wetting and sticks it to the soil to aid germination, an adaptation for dry environments.
