Deyeuxia quadriseta


Erect sparsely tufted perennial to 150 cm tall, few-stemmed. Dense long narrow pale green seedhead 20 cm long. Leaf sheaths are finely ribbed, with flat or loosely inrolled leaf blades up to 30 cm long by 7 cm wide that are generally rough to the touch.

Biology

Perennial. Cool-season perennial. Variable species found on well drained soils from sealevel to the alpine zone. Frost and drought-tolerant. Also occurs in NZ.
