Calocephalus sonderi


Woolly grey to silvery erect plant to 40 cm high. Narrow grey leaves mostly alternate, broadening towards tips, densely hairy, upper leaves smaller. Abundant pale yellow or white flowers in round compound heads held on long stalks.

Biology

Annual. Grows in grassland or open woodland on sandy to clay soils. Widespread. Can be common over wide areas, especially after heavy spring rains in low-lying areas.
