Bulbine semibarbata


Tufted plant with single upright flower stem to 50 cm tall. Up to 35 yellow lily flowers in a spike-like cluster. Petals and sepals to 22 mm long with bearded filaments. Fleshy green to grey-green flat to roundish onion-like leaves to 40 cm.

Interesting Facts
Similar Species

Very variable species that requires further study. Similar to B. bulbosa but shorter and flowers half the size. Coastal forms can be very big in all their parts.
