Well-developed leaves up the stem, smaller than the leaves at the base but the same appearance.

Biology

Perennial. Moist to dry well-drained soils in a range of habitats. Seed becomes jelly-like on wetting and sticks it to the soil to aid germination, an adaptation for dry environments.
