Brachyloma daphnoides

Attractive, broad-leaved shrub to 1 m tall covered in spring with perfumed, white flowers. Dull green to grey-green oval to circular leaves.

From the Greek brachy = short, loma = fringe, referring to the fringe of hairs in the flowertube. Brachyloma species have a fleshy berry (drupe) that was used by Aboriginal people as a food source.
