Juncus sarophorus


Tufted rush with horizontal rhizomes forming dense clumps. Small tight reddish to reddish-brown leaves to 30 cm. Dull green or bluish-green wiry dull stems to 180 cm with fewer (20-50) coarser ridges. Flowers in dense fan-shaped clusters.
