Lachnagrostis adamsonii


This plant can be a tuft to 70 cm consisting of one flowering stalk with a few leaf blades, or a tussock with over 50 flowering stalks. The seedheads become brittle, break off and blow away in the wind. The inflorescence is an open panicle to 25 cm long.
