Variation in body colour: greys, browns and reds with various patterns dorsally. The colour of this gecko usually but not always, correlates with the ground colour where it occurs. Up to 8 cm.
The Tessellated Gecko is a terrestrial species, found during the day under various forms of cover, or soil cracks. By night it feeds on insects in open areas.
