Poa meionectes


Tufted perennial with tall flower stems to 90 cm. Inrolled angular leaves to 20 cm, often with small knob-like swellings at the base. Leaf sheath purplish. Seedheads sparse to 12 cm with green or purplish flowers.

Similar Species

Similar to P. clelandii but leaves finer and less rigid, and smaller flowers, and similar to Poa tenera which is rhizomatous.
