Pimelea humilis


Dwarf shrub to 30 cm tall and 60 cm wide. Leaves opposite, decussate, grey-green, small and oval. Small tubular creamy-white flowers, in dense clusters at the top of stems.

Hairy stems. Leaves are opposite and decussate in this Pimelea sp. Develops suckering roots where the branches touch the soil.

Biology

Perennial. Widespread, growing in sand, sandy loam or skeletal soil overlying rock. Locally common in heathland and drier woodland.
