Introduced herb to 30 cm. Stems erect, upright or sometimes creeping, sparsely or densely covered with spreading hairs pointing upwards. Taproot rarely present.

Stems have spreading hairs, upward-pointing (antrose) hairs on stems, and leaf margins are hairy. Flower stems bend in the middle so fruits aren't above the leaves.
