Prostrate or decumbent perennial herb growing to 1 m in diameter with stout, cylindrical taproot with a well-developed root system. Leaves about 4 cm long and 2 cm wide may have a wavy edge, are clothed in numerous reddish glandular hairs. Flowers pale pink or pale purple. Small hairy furrowed fruits.
